Developed in part as a result of “Desert
Storm ”, the AN/USQ-131A Memory Loader Verifier
Set (MLVS) loads avionics and electronic threat warfare
software in minutes using commercially available PC card drive onto the U.S. Navy
aircraft‘s onboard computer system. Operational flight programs, geographically user
specific data files, threat characteristics for radar warning receivers, and software
for weapons replaceable assemblies can all be loaded using the MLVS. Produced for the
U.S. Naval Air Systems Command by Data Voice, Inc., the MLVS supports the Navy and Marine Corps’ goal of rapid distribution (deployment) of mission data files. Increased global effectiveness and air combat survivability are now available to the
Tactical Aircraft and rotary wing communities through electronic deployment of electronic warfare and avionics data files. |
